turn off automatic connections

Hi, I want to ask if it is possible to turn off the auto merging of two walls. I want to have a edge between two walls(or morphs) from the same material, not to join it together in one. Thank you for your answer

Duplicate the material and give it another name
It will draw a line between in 2D view

Or have them on layers with different intersection groups.

Yes. And it will also produce that line in 3D which can also be very important when you need to show the correct intersects. Which for me is all the time. For example with beams, I never want them to clean up and merge. I always plan for which one runs by and I want that to show up in the drawings/views. To merge or not to merge would be a good toggle to have for all kinds of things. That way we would not need to use the duplicate materials work-around.
