zone settings

Hello.
I have the following issue with zones: they are somehow set to calculate area and perimeter including doors. How can I give this up?
I hope the pictures clear up the question.

In the Options\Project Preferences\Zones Dialog uncheck the checkboxes at the top next to the Door and Window icon, then update your Zones.
This way there will be no additions to the Zone at Wall Recesses created by Doors and Windows.
