DWG export : "attribute" autocad reference

Simon ANNET Wallonia

 Hello,

I would like to export a DWG in which blocks would appear, each containing information in the autocad "attribute" reference, which I would have indicated in Archicad.

I tried to fill in all possible fields in Archicad objects before exporting but I think Archicad does not recognize the "attribute" reference of autocad.

Do you have a solution?

thanks in advance

Is it possible that you are trying to xref the .dwg generated with Archicad into AutoCAD ?

That would not display the Block Attributes even if they were in the Archicad generated .dwg

Also, it would be helpful to know what version of Archicad and AutoCAD your using for the files.

ArchiCAD 25 7000 USA - Windows 10 Pro 64x - Dell 7720 64 GB 2400MHz ECC - Xeon E3 1535M v6 4.20GHz - (2) 1TB M.2 PCIe Class 50 SSD's - 17.3" UHD IPS (3840x2160) - Nvidia Quadro P5000 16GB GDDR5 - Maxwell Studio/Render 5.2.1.49- Multilight 2 - Adobe Acrobat Pro - ArchiCAD 6 -25

Hello.
The problem is not to read the properties in the DWG file but to export these properties from Archicad to autocad. Is it possible to do this?

When Archicad saves DWG Block, it can include attribute reference only if the information is appearing in the object as a text. If you want to include additional information - you can use such a hack - include this information as a text too, but make it very-very small, that nobody noticed it on the floor plan. Check my library - I was using this feature in my objects: https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/Collaborate-forum/Archicad-Template-and-Library-free-download/m-...
