GDL: Hotspot Dimension Reassociation

Hi all,

Is there some way to reassociate a dimension to a specific Hotspot?

For example, the left Hotspot can move vertically, but is not relevant to dimensioning, so it would be good that if you attempted to associate a dimention to it, it instead associated to the right Hotspot.

Not that I am aware of.

Dimensions are associated to the ID of the hotspots.

If you don't assign an ID to a hotspot, they are assigned automatically (but there is no way to know what they are then).

If you change the ID of the hotspots I believe the dimension will re-associate to another hotspot if it now uses the ID of the moved hotspot, and the moved hotspot losses the ID it had.

But the problem is then that that if you renumber a new hotspot with the ID of the moved hotspot, any dimension already linked to that 'new' hotspot will be lost because you just changed its ID.
