Questioning about Backward Migration Script !!!

Hi there,

I was reading ArchiCAD GDL Reference Guide about Backward Migration, and I have found the following in the guide,

Backward migration only works for one version back, so the targetGUID only needs to be set once (except when you make a fork in the migration to separate previous-version objects).

What is the guide trying to point out with "except when you make a fork in the migration to separate previous-version objects" ?

A good friend of mine have once told me that I´m so brute that I´m capable of creating a GDL script capable of creating GDLs.

I assume it is the opposite of merging two objects in forward migration.
i.e. 'Tree 01 23' and 'Tree 02 23' become 'Tree 24'.

So you will need 2 target IDs if you want to split them when migrating backwards.
