AC20 cover fill from surface in layout

Anonymous
Not applicable
Using AC20: Using 'use fill from surface' on meshes which display fine in 2D window but when placed on a layout the fill does not show. If i un-check the 'use fill from surface' then the fill appears correctly (or whatever fill i choose for the mesh). Checked pens etc. in surfaces, pen set etc. Don't have this problem with slabs.

Is this a fault in AC20?

I am not seeing this problem.
I am wondering if it is a renovation filter and/or graphic override.
What happens when you select the drawing in the layout, right click on it and choose "open source view".
If the coverfill is missing then I would suspect reno filter or graphic override.
If it is still there then I am not sure.
Also not sure why it is affecting just the mesh coverfill and not slabs.

Make sure you have the latest update for version 20 (build 4009).

on latest build.

it shows fine in 2D window as OP, just doesn't show in layout. I've un-ticked use fill from surface and it works fine for now (ticking/ un-ticking repeats the error every time). Even if i change the view settings to no overrides and no renovation overrides it still repeats. just thought i would post it just in case it was a bug?

Do other fills display correctly on the Layout?

Could it be that Vectorial Hatching is turn off in View> On screen view options?

its a 2D plan view. slabs show fine using fill from surface. if im in 2d window and have fill from surface unticked and go to layout it all shows fine, if i go back to 2d window and tick fill from surface and go back to layout then the fill does not display.

vectorial hatching on or off when on the layout makes no difference.

I tried this and it works fine for me too.

Does this issue occur only this file or in another file as well?
Does it occur if you start a new Project with New & Reset?

the file in question came from AC19. Tried a file made in AC20 that's been worked on and happens in that. Made a new file and drew only a mesh and happens in that also.

strange that no one else can replicate this.
