Archicad to Rhino-VRay workflow

Hello,

I am almost new to Archicad, I made a few tries with trial versions and I'm considering going full bim with Archicad.

The only problem I see is the interoperability with Rhino. (as I already have Rhino and V-ray licenses)

It's nice to work with live connection but it would be even better to receive geometry from Archicad to Rhino.

Export options are extremly limited in my opinion, and I couldn't find a propper workflow to minimize the amount of work to render with Rhino V-ray.

Does anyone have a personnal process or ideas to improve this workflow?

I was wondering if there are better file format that support textures and mapping?

I'll be happy to hear from your experiences

I don't have a process but what you could do is you could check all the 3D formats Archicad can export, then check all the 3D formats Rhino can import and see which one would fit your goals best in terms of options, data exchange quality and such.
