Dear colleges,

I have very simple problem. How to open/import ArchiCAD (.pln) file in Artlantis 4.5? What I have to do to import anything from ArchiCAD?

I'm sorry but your work flow is wrong!

You have to EXPORT from ArchiCAD in Artlantis format:

1. Make a perspective
2. Save it as Artlantis file
3. Open this file by using Artlantis

Dear Mr. Diodati,

Thank you for your answer. I have next one. How to export an ArchiCAD file? I tried to Save As... in Artlantis format (atl, opt, gs1, gsr, fac,...), but I haven`t any of that filters in ArchiCAD 8.1 (full, legal). Should I save it/export it as bmp or some other graphic format?

I just describe before the procedure to follow!
If you have a FULL version of ArchiCAD (with all the standard add-ons properly installed) do the following:

1. Display a 3D view of your model (only perspective!)
2. With the 3D window in front of all, use the File/Save as... command
3. In the displayed dialog window you can choose .ATL format

BTW, the save formats change referring to the current active ArchiCAD window (for this reason, in order to export in .ATL format you must have the 3D window in front view)
