Changing standard lines and symbols etc.

I'm quite new to archicad or any other such software so maybe this is a dumb question.
Is it possible to change lines and symbols and such for the whole project? Like in my case I'd like them to follow the Swedish standard. But I can't figure out how to do it. Is it possible to download something like a swedish definition pack?

Hello KaniJonas,

Archicad is translated and adapted to more than 100 country.

But if you want to personalise your draws, you are able to create your own lines and hatches by this way :
- draw with line tool
- copy your line draw
- go to menu Option/Element attributes/Hatch or Line
- create a new hatch or line
- choose to create a "Symbol" hatch or line
- paste your original draw into your new own hatch or line
Finaly you can use it with all your 2D sketches

Before all, check your original draw is made by this kind of orientation :

If you want to create 2D object to make some 2D symbol, I invite you to use Patch by this way :
- do a selection zone
- go to Documentation/Annotation/Do a Patch
Archicad will create a gsm object from your 2D draw and you will be able to use it like a dynamic occurrence.

I use Patch to create my own electric french symbol or to have better details on my 2D sections
