Detail Marker in a Detail (AC 10)

Is there a way to link text to display the drawing number/sheet number that the detail is plotted on? I cannot put a detail marker in a detail (its gray).

I don't want to have to go back and keep changing the drawing number/sheet number each time that linked detail is moved to a new sheet (I will have multiple details to track like this) so I was hoping there was a "smart" way to do this...

Any ideas?

If you go to the layout, select the detail you want to refer to, right click and select "Set as Autotext Reference". Go back to the detail you want to refer from and use Autotext within a normal text element, selecting the "Reference for {Layout}" / Layout Number option within the Autotext pop-up. If your detail is moved or the layout renumbered the text will adjust accordingly.

Requires manual setup but is automatic from there on in, so semi-smart.
