An odd thing is happening when I import one plan in Plotmaker. All doors and windows has dissapeared from the project. Only holes in walls is what I have. Not to mention, that in ArchiCAD I have everything.

Help!

Display options in the saved view? Do you have everything in the same view in ArchiCAD?

Other possible culprits: pens, naming of the display options.

Yes Djordje. In ArchiCAD everything is ok. Same views,... The thing is, that the file seems to be corupted somehow. The three day old version of the project is OK. There was no crash. It is just that client dont want to waste last three days work, and certanly dont want to have this hapened to him again sometimes.

I have tried to save the project in AC7 and then reopen it in AC8 and again to PM but the things got even more confused, since now there was only half of the opening missing.

Strange.

is it just doors and windows, or is it all library parts?

there is an issue with BGarchiCAD and networked libraries:

No, it is only doors and windows. The file have been corrupted somehow, I just hope it wont happen again.

Thanks for trying.

We have had a similar thing occur a couple of times where we have had doors and windows disappear from one drawing even as they still show up in another on the same layout.

We have had to delete and reimport the offending file (with no changes to settings). That has taken care of it. But it is strange and I have no answer.

We had a similar problem, but seemed to sort it out by going back to the ArchiCAD file and opening up the offending viewset, making sure that the correct settings are checked in Display Options menu and then redefining the view in the view set window and saving.

We have a similar (possibly same) problem. We have our model in 8.1 and the LBK in PM9. However, we've noticed that it only happens on certain computers in the office. For example, if my co-worker updates the drawings the windows and doors appear, but they disappear when I update the drawings. Maybe try updating the drawings on different computers in the office...it might be a way to work around the problem.

We think it may have something to do with the libraries associated with BGAC (BG ArchiCAD) for PM9. I opened BGAC and added the 8.1 library in the library manager, but its had no effect. We're still searching for a solution...
