Find and Select: fill pattern parameter missing?

Paul King

Am I going crazy, or is there really no way to select fills according to fill pattern, using the find and select dialog?

This is on Archicad 23 (sadly the firms I freelance to tend to stay 2 versions behind), and for the life of me, I am not finding it.  Fill pattern is the one characteristic that most visibly distinguishes any given fill from another, and very often all other fill parameters are the same in a view with lots of placed fills

OK, to answer my own question, yes I am going crazy.  Just click to add the 'Fill' attribute, then select fill pattern from the sub menu that appears.

Possibly a UI language translation error - 'Fill' here is not referring to the element type, but to the fill pattern in this context.

but still "Fill" itself is an element type... and yes maybe the way they label the "Fill" in the sub menu instead of fill pattern. 🤔
