Finishes Only option in Partial Strucure Display

hi all,

I am missing a Finishes Only option in Partial Strucure Display (3D). Is there workaround to get only finishes without core geometries? Beside the splitting of the composites into seperate e-g- walls?

Thank you for any hint

Hello Florian Lohberger,

Did you use this tool ?

Or did you check these parameters into your composite wall ?

I think Florian is referring to hide the core and just show the finishes.
In this case, it is not possible.
But you can always create a wish.
Yes, I want to hide the core.
Thanks for the super fast reply!
I'll make a wish 😉

Just out of curiosity: Why do you need that? In what context is that necessary?

This would be useful in case you have, for example, a extremely detailed structure/core model from the engineer that you don't want to be coincident with a simplistic core on Composites and CP's in a design phase. This often causes coincident surfaces flickering. With this option, we just hide the "designed core" and the detailed structure would appear.
