Joining lines of text?

TomWaltz
Participant
Is there an easy way to take multiple lines of text and merge/join them into one paragraph?

I have a number of things brought in from AutoCAD (which are not mtext), that would be really useful to have act as one text, not multiple.

Thanks!

There is no magic command to do this. Chalk up another one for the Wish List, Djordje.

The only way to do it is to copy/paste the individual text entities into a single one. A very tedious process. I've been there - done that... Not fun.

I thought I read somewhere that the DWG translation in AC8.1 now recognizes and correctly translates AutoCAD mtext entities?! Hmm, maybe it's just wishful thinking.

That's a good wish all right. The only thing worse than cutting and pasting AutoCAD text blocks together is pasting together imported Word LETTERS--AARGH!
