Legend disappeared, opened all layers & Phases, can not find

Legend lost and can not be found even when all phases and layers are open. Sometimes it shows up ghost but disappears if you try to access.
any recommendations? I think the text is not stable and it should be done in word and imported. Is this what you recommend?

What do you mean by "legend"?
Could you post a screenshot to illustrate it?

I meant Symbols, Acronyms and Abbreviations in a list.

If data gets lost the easy way to find it is to open layers all visible and unlocked, Renovation show all, but guess what the new legend has also disappeared? I found a few new layers that were not displayed in open all layers and included them.! I still can not find previous finished list and am starting to re do list.

Also if you use a wall or 3D object (I guess you can set it to 2D to keep it from showing up on other drawings or label everything to the same layer so that it only appears when you use that layer?

What is the best way to set up such a list so that it can be reused?

Ah, OK, you created a Legend.
But how did you create that Legend? Is that a Text Block?

Yes it is a text block, i just copy and paste to reorganize and move around. I am keeping the whole file in one layer, under sub topics such as general, handicap, fixtures, electric, HVAC...
Eventually, i may break layer into these sub files as layers.
I think most people would choose to put this text block in a separate Worksheet (on the ArchiCAD layer so you never lose it) and send to layout so you can move it around, or just keep as a text block on a Layout sheet.

Thanks, that makes sense and it could be reused from project to project.
