MVO Show window openings only eliminates wall lines at jamb

Robert Nichols

In some cases, with MVO set to show window openings only (like I usually do for ceiling plan), the resultant view is missing lines where the wall is cut for the window opening, i.e. at the jamb (see attached image).

I had thought the problem was with the setup of the composite wall, but I get the same result when I revert to a simple wall. Must be a window setting, and I feel like I've fixed it before, but I can never remember where (happens a lot with ArchiCAD).

Any ideas?

do you have the "with contour" box checked as well on the MVO in use?

Uhhh - I don't have "with contour" checked, but when I set that correctly, it adds lines parallel to the wall (running jamb-to-jamb), which IS, what I want to see, but the short perpendicular lines indicating the jamb are still omitted.

do you have the line pen box checked within the composites?

that is a common issue in our office, when people dig up older projects, and copy things to a new file.
