More than one setting for working units in a view?

Hi All,

I am working on an architectural site plan where I have the standard working units set to feet and inches. I have a mesh created for the site and grading. I would like to insert level dimensions to give elevation points on the site (it is too flat for contours). I would like the level dimensions to be in decimal feet (not feet and inches). I can only find a way to change the units for the entire drawing and for just for the level dimensions. Is it possible to set the level dimension to decimal feet, while my dimension strings are feet and inches?

Thanks so much!

Yes.
Open Dimensions in "Project Preferences".
Set unit preferences for each type of dimension. i.e., linear, level, angular, etc.
Store the settings.
Apply the stored Dimension settings to the saved view.

BTW,
What version of AC are you using? Platform?
