Plotmaker crashes when plotting

Hi everybody
We have a HP designjet 750 on a small network with mixed os from win 2000 to xp (Home and pro).
When we plot from our old trusted 750 -plotmaker freezes.
From the same station any other document (word, excel, indesign -you name it) can be printed /plotted without any ploblems- Even the testprint runs through ok.
Any suggestions??

Best regards

What is the memory in your 750 and how is it connected to the network?

Did you try PRINTING, not PLOTTING?

What are the specs of the machine that freezes?

Hi again

I think that the HP should not be the problem- it should have as much energy as needed- it is normally used for printing posters in colour.

The station is a new Dell Inspiron 6150 with 1gbRam and 80Gb HD.
It is used for educational use together with 5 similar stations.
First I thougt that it might be a problem that the os was Home Edition but it has also been tried with Pro edition with same result.

The network is a closed network running IPX -no wireless-
The plotter is connected to the teacher station running Win 2000.
The teacher station also shares files and dongles.

Thanks for helping

Just a stab in the dark. Could any of your fonts be causing a problem.
Cheers John
