Preview picture when uploading model to BIMx model transfer

The preview picture for BIMx, as far as I can tell, is the 4x3 fairly low res picture used in ArchiCAD (file > info > project preview). This is ok-ish for the BIMx app, however when uploading your file to the model transfer site to share it gets blown up about 2 or 3 times and it really shows as low res.

Is there any other way to define the BIMx preview picture? Does it have to be 4x3?

Here is the official answer to your question:

Up to ARCHICAD 20, for best results, the image should be 320×240 pixels in size, a 4:3 ratio. If the image is another size, it will be cropped so as to achieve a 4:3 ratio and to fit the 320×240 pixel size.
From ARCHICAD 21 you can use any size and image resolution.

Ah good to know it's been fixed / changed for ArchiCAD21.

Thank you for pointing me that way.

Still a shame that they bloat the picture to such a size on the BIMx model transfer site though.
