Publishing pdf's create 0k Files

So I decided to go modern and use publisher to create a set of pdf's for me to send to the printing bureau in AC10. When I select publish the publishing window opens and the secondary processing window opens. When it is done the publishing window says saved and the file size is listed and seems reasonable ie. between 200k and 1meg depending on what is in the file. When I select the file in the finder it is actually 0k and if I try to open it I get a file error. I have quit the program and reopened it and tried opening other files. Has anyone else seen this behavior? I'm once again back to plt's.

I see we are all on build 966. Anyone have the courage to run the newest hot fix ( I love THAT euphemism) to see if it might have fixed it? I have a couple of projects going out this week and better the devil you know....
I did... it didn't

Guess I need to change my signature to: 815 full USA

If you uninstall AC10 and then reinstall and do not run the updates, you will be able to publish pdf Files........ even multi-page pdfs.

I'm having trouble deciding if I need/want the updates.

I'd be interested to hear if this works for others.
Multi-page PDF's via the mutii-page checkbox option from Publisher (via Save Files from the Publisher Set Properties)
Works for my G4 with OS 10.4.7
I am on Build 987.

One (exactly) of my guys had this issue. I could PDF his files without trouble. He is back on 817, where he can publish again.
James:
Is he on Mac OS 10.3 or 10.4? Your on 10.4, yes?

I am on 10.3 for computer coordination purposes but I have an external hard drive with 10.4 and will try booting up with it to see if it makes a difference. It might not happen until this weekend though.
