Segmented Marker Range

Aloha,
Is there any way to segment a marker's (Elevation or Section) horizontal range.
I have a building with several jogs and I only want to show the walls facing the elevation in the Exterior Elevation views.
Thank you,
John

If I understand your question I assume the "jogs" are not perpendicular to the elevation marker so they show only their projection and not the correct elevations.

This may be too elaborate but you can make a view of the whole elevation, place the view as many times as you need in your Layout and "crop the unwanted portions. Then align the cropped views in the Layout to meet your needs

Here is a sketch of what I want to be able to do.
Can the elevation or section tools be set so they have staggered range limits?
Thank you,
John

That is not possible at the moment. You can jog the elevation line itself, but not it's range (or distant area range). One way around it is to have separate elevations with settings as required, and stitch them together on the layout.

Thanks Stu,
It is good to know that I'm not missing a feature/function.
It would be really helpful to have this feature in ArchiCAD.
Aloha,
John
