Sketch engine settings

Where does the sketch engine get it's sun settings from? Azimuth and angle? No settings for it in the dialogue box, and my rendering is all in shadow.

Also, rendering time is quite long, overnight. No trees in the pic, took them out. Any hints to cut down time?

Thanks.

Hello Tom
It gets it's settings from the Image/3D Projection settings. Also look at "more sun" in this dialog box.

My favorite settings for a sketch rendering are:
Skyliner and then Pen and Ink.

I make a couple of tweaks:
Darkeren the Pen color, Make the lines less squiggley, and less overshoot.

These can be save into a text file if you take the time to search for a txt file in the addons/rendering/sketch...(didn't confirm this path)

What I like about these setting is that it looks like a good sketch and it is FAST. A big reason why it's fast, is that Shadows and Hatching are turned off. That stuff takes too long for my taste.
