Smartest way to split a building??...connection line....

I'm doing my first large project in AC where the aim is documentation. I have a building that is slightly to large for the very convenient scale 1:100. I can use 1:200 instead but I would rather go with what we call a connection line. That is splitting the building into two parts (and thus generating almost twice as many drawings). What is the best way (or standard way) of doing this in AC and still have a fairly detailed 3D model as a common origin of data?

Keep your full model in Archicad and locate your match line. In plotmaker you can crop the drawing as needed to only show the portion that you require and fit the drawing on multiple sheets.

Ahhh thanks Millard.

Naturally that's the way I have to go.
I have to admit I was dreaming of a more automated way...
I also learned a new word "match line" Thank you!
