Story Settings as defined by the Survey

We want to be able to set stories as they are defined by the survey.
Our surveyors always reference sea level in relationship to site contours and spot grades. In our area a typical site grade elevation begins at 520 feet.
Currently with AC9, story one cannot be set to a level that high.
If we want to do an accurate site and building what is the best method to accomplish this?
And secondly how could one redo an earlier project and reset the grades reflecting our sea level contour based references?

First in Options/Preferences/Working Units set the Reference level to -520 and name it Sea Level

When placing a level dimension just specify that the dimension Origin is Sea Level in the Info Box (the easiest way) or the Dimensions Settings dialogue box

You can go into an old file and set a Reference level then select the dimensions you want to have refer to Sea Level as the Origin and whamo!
