I see.
It seems like there is a rounding inside the Label that causes this.
Unfortunately the Label script is pretty complicated so I didn't find where it is set and if it could be set differently.
I tried a different approach: I created a new custom IFC Property and I created an IFC Mapping for it to return the same data the Object Type option returns in the Label. Then I selected this new IFC Property to be listed in the Label.
This actually uses the Length Unit setting in Calculation Units & Rules Dialog.
This is good for metric, but I am not sure this will be good for your purposes as well since there is no "Feet and Inches" setting, only "decimal feet" or "decimal inches".
