plan north vs. project north

Anonymous

I would like to document my project using plan north instead of project north to save paper among other things. If I rotate the view in layout the text is slanted. Should I change the project north to suit my layout? And if so how do I do that?

Project north is configured in "Project Preferences -> Project Location ->Project North" you can right click in the project name in the Navigator to get to it.

The other option, and IMO the correct one is to rotate the orientation of the Drawing and save the View with that option by clicking "Use Current Zoom".

After rotating the plan when you save the view check that the following button is showing "Current Zoom". This will save the rotation. With this done text will not get inverted.
