"Plan continues next page..."

You know when you're working on a big project & you just can't fit the entire plan on 1 sheet of paper & you're forced to split them into multiple pages? at the edges of these plan drawings, it helps to add a note that says "drawing continues on A1211..." Is there a way to automate even just the plan number of that notation?

i was even thinking as far as adding linked detail markers in the layout view that call out the adjacent drawing, as a way to minimise manual work. but of course you can't add detail markers directly to the layout.

i'd hate to add these markers in the model itself because the model becomes too convoluted with information that should only be in the layout sheets.

thoughts? if that didn't make sense, perhaps i can attach a sample soon...

Gerard:

You can place AutoText that references another Drawing. In the Help files see: Documentation > Annotation > Autotext > Autotext Reference Drawing.

David:
Any idea how to remove a custom autotext reference from the
dialogue box?
I don't see it in the help file.

I don't follow your question: why do you want to eliminate the autotext reference from the list of options?

Yes.
But figured it out.
It's gone after closing/opening the project.
