SOLVED!

"Upgraded" to 25 an worried

I recently joined the up to date club.  I'm pretty sure my Mac is fine for 25 and Monterey, but it is so sluggish selecting an object, stretching a wall.. etc, I'm worried.  Those simple actions will spin the colored ball a few seconds.  I contacted support, but I am wondering if anyone else is has that issue.  I was expecting it to be more responsive.  I opened a clean pln and get the same sluggishness.

The grey area on the section/elevations is something I'd rather not look at. I see it allows expanding the cut plane, but I'd like the screen to be all white.  Is there a way to turn that off?  I can't find it.

ps... I am tickled my status is "newcomer" 🙂  I remember being on this forum when it was just email exchanges between a small group of users ... LOL

Glad to hear you figured that out.  In my case I have the same sluggish behavior with the default template file and using only AC's WE etc.  I spent 1 1/2 hour on the screen call last week with support.  They took several terminal data collection samples for them to analyze.  Also suggesting I make a partition and install OS11.  That I really don't want to do, but something is going on.  Tempted to get an Apple Studio, but that is not yet sanctioned by Graphisoft, and if it came with 12.3, I'd not be any better off until that's fixed.  Thanks for all the feedback.
