section lines have colorfill attached in plan

ArchiCad 23 mac. Started a new project and now on the plan, the sections lines have a colorfill attached to the side of the section line oriented with the arrow. The infinite horizontal range depth and the zero horizontal range depth have colorfills that are the thickness of the marker, whereas the limited horizontal range depth has the colorfill for the entire range. How does one deactivate this feature?

That sounds like 'Highlight Source Markers' in the On-Screen Display Options.
It is an on screen visual only - it will not print.

There is another 'Marker Range' that just shows lines for the extents - again they won't print.
