Hello everyone,

Is any one else having problem saving a view image w/ AC19?
the view on screen looks fine but whenever placing on layout or saving as jpeg it look really bad.

Just tested out the Bimx model export today, and it yielding the same jagged edge in the model. Is there any quick way that I can save from AC19 back to AC17 so that I can continue using these tools.

The only way to save back is in 19 you "Save As" a version 18 PLN and then open that in 18 and "Save As" a version 17 PLN.

As a quicker workaround, have you tried setting up a 'dressed down' cinerender scene? Nothing fancy, just the most basic settings with a 'general light' lamp set up with infinite distance/strength to light up the interior views. You should be able to get a render in under a minute for these kind of views.

Or save them as 3D documents with colour representation settings.

Or take the saved JPEG to a photo editor, apply some filters and overlay a sketch render to go for a handdrawn presentation look.

There are some settings I posted there for a quick render and it appears there is a setting in work environment advanced redraw that might help.

Thank Erwin,

The setting mention in that post about the 2D Drawing Antialiasing being switched off by default. Activating it will solve the problem.

"In ARCHICAD 19, the 2D Drawing Antialiasing is switched off by default. You need to activate it to get nicer result here: Options > Work Environment > Advanced Redraw Options." Katalin Borszeki: Implementation Specialist
