Hi all,
I am trying to setup our template to have autotext setup for each publisher set based on RIBA work stages. I've setup the project code within project info and I want to setup publisher folders for each work stage (scheme design, planning, building regulations, construction etc). I have the following naming structure:
<PROJECT_CODE><SourceID><SourceItemName> <DAYOFMONTH>.<MONTHNUMBER>.<YEARSHORT>
However, that renaming only works to be setup if there is one file within the publisher folder, i.e, the right click option of 'Rename Items' is only visible when there is a file within that folder. If I setup this file path as in the example, then I delete the files within that folder and drag them in again, that naming is gone and I need to set it up again.
Is there any way to have it remember that naming structure even with no files inside that folder? Alternatively, is there any way to change the default Custom name autotext that is being added when you toggle that option on? Currently it seems to automatically add in '<SourceID> <SourceItemName>' so perhaps this is stored somewhere where the default can be adjusted?
Many thanks.
Operating system used: Windows 10

Autotext in is always bound to the single item - you can not attribute a auto text to folder, neither have the items in this folder
be named in a custom way bound to the folder.
This is actually a wish somewhere in this board for many years.
If just copy/pasting the custom name to different items is not enough for you I would suggest
saving the different autotext combinations in a text file or somewhere in the project-notes and copy paste from there.
