Railings in ARCHICAD

I was trying to get maximum of Railing Tool. But there's a thing. I constructed a railing according to my country's standards and it has this 3D overlappings. When I open the section it doesn't look good.

You would think that the connection would trim automatically, but they don't.

However, if you go into 'EDIT' mode you can select the various components and perform Solid Element Operations on them to subtract one from the other.

 

Another trick that is a little more automatic is to make the railing fractionally larger that the post (or the other way around) so one will cover the other.
