Scheduling Doors by Type and Listing Door Numbers

Hi All,

Is there a way to schedule doors by there Type and then list the door numbers under the schedule listing all doors relating to that type.

For Example Type 1: External Double Aluminium Door and then under this door in the schedule its automatically lists the doors that are within this Type. So D01, D02 D03 etc.

Any help would be great. As currently having to schedule each door individually and when there are a lot of doors schedules get BIG!

Thanks

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

Yes, you can achieve this by using grouping in schedules. There's a useful Tip of the Month article that explains how to group elements in Archicad schedules, which might help with what you're trying to do: Tip of the month, December 2024: Creative grouping... - Graphisoft Community

Although this doesn't cater to your question specifically, I think you can use the same methods and tweak them to fit your needs. Try setting up your schedule to group doors by type and then list the door numbers as part of that grouping. Let me know if you need further help with that!

You may also want to look at the merging options for the cells.

You can list your doors by type and then have a cell that lists all of the IDs (List each value) rather than a separate row/column for each ID.
