I have noticed that when I have cores of composite walls that are slightly different (i.e. 2x4 and 2x6 stud walls) the cores do not intersect but instead the finish carries through the intersection. Is there a way to fix this?
Also when I send a CAD file to my structrual engineer who uses autocad he would like to only see the structural walls without the finishes. Is ther a way to see only the core (structure) of a composite wall and not the whole wall? Thanks in advance for any help in these matters. This is not presently possible (though some clumsy workarounds come to mind), but it would make an excellent wish list item. A display option to show the cores only would be a nice feature.

It would make the ArchiCAD extras easier to use as well.
