Feature request labels & section markers

Hi there, thank you for the new Archicad 28. During testing some inputs from my side:

Labels

  • It should be possible to create labels with information from to elements. Sometimes we’ve to model things with two elements, want to see the description on the plan as one list.
  • Labels should have a 3D-element too and a connection in 3D too, at the moment we’ve to place 3D boxes separately to show the detail-position in the model.

Section-markers & co.

  • They should have a 3d representation too, otherwise we’ve to place 3D boxes in the model separately to show the position in the model too.

The possibility to create a 3D-script would be enough;) the rest we can script ourselves.

That's what we've been imagining for many versions too, but it seems to be a fundamentally different approach for the cutting tool and it would mean a complete overhaul of the tool (everything should be backwards compatible...). It's questionable whether that will (ever) happen or whether "third parties" will do something via the API (at least).

A 3D script is a good idea, but Graphisoft needs to concentrate on completely thinking through a tool and, above all, programming it, since the vast majority of users actually cannot and will not script.

I see no harm in creating additional 3D Geometry. You also want/need coordination objects for your IFC collaboration - as long as those geometries are distinctly classified, and imediatly recognisable as such.

More IFC export control over 2D Elements would be appreciated though.
