Custom Object with Multiple 3D Detail Levels

tband

Hi All,

I would like to create a custom object, with 2D and 3D detail levels which can be controlled through MVO, in a similar manner to what can be achieved with built-in library furniture objects. An example of the intended output is attached. How might this be achieved without an extensive understanding of GDL?

Thanks in advance

If you want to script the objects yourself then you will have to know GDL.

But if you simply want to save elements as GDL objects, the try the Library Part Maker add-on.

I have never used it bu I believe it is supposed to do Level Of Detail for plan and 3D.
