Favorite Converter Tool - AC28

I'm having problems with the tool to convert favorites, is there any tutorial?

The change from the "monolithic" library to the "global" library, and especially the Favorite Converter Tool, is undoubtedly a wonderful solution to create problems that we did not have before.

Hi everyone,

our company skipped an AC version and I am trying to convert our favorites from AC27 to AC29. However I encounter two error messages on the way and I was unable to resolve the problem despite trying for an hour now.

1) When exporting from our template an error message say ArchiCAD encountered an "internal error". Does not say anything specific. However the folder ends up containing the xmls, so I tried to continue.

2) I open a new generic template, import the converter addon and try to convert, it ends up with 

"Error! Error: Output file is not writeable:
Build FAILED!"

(First line repeated 6 times)

I cannot make the folder path simpler than "C:\ac28_fav". I am running as administrator.

I read this forum through, followed the tutorial to the letter. 

Tried both AC28 and AC29 versions for the process, no luck.

No ideas left.

Help would be appreciated.
