Terrain modelling from morph (after Sketchup model import)

HI there! Sorry for bothering you, but I digged tons of topics and articles and still could not find the answer.

I`m doing terrain modeling of the big plot (about 1000 hectares). I have 3d model of the surface which I`ve got from Sketchup+Google earth. I exported it to Archicad and got the object which is possible convert to a morph. The problem is - I`ve got morph with thouthands of dots which hardly editable. Is there any ways to get mesh or slab from morph? Or get mesh structure directly from sketchup model? Or maybe should I start modelling from a skratch in Archicad?

Thank you in advance for your time and patience.

You could build your terrain in Sketchup, then take contours from that terrain to use with a mesh in ArchiCAD.
Or if you can get just the point nodes from Google Earth, you could use something like ArchiTerra to create a mesh in ArchiCAD.

In my experience in this case I always re model. It's way better down the track and will save you time. You are welcome to look at a couple of my ARCHICAD Speed Model tutorials, to give you some more options at how to model the terrain.
