License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. masking errors using CUTPOLYA and REVOLVE

Anonymous
Not applicable
I am trying to punch holes using CUTPOLYA in a dome shape created with the REVOLVE command. I cannot mask the sides of the cut holes. I cut the same holes in a flat prism and the sides masked properly, so the problem must be in the revolve command. No matter which masking value I use I cannot see the sides of the hole. Any help would be appreciated.

Julia,
Was the bench top made with REVOLVE
or was the basin made with REVOLVE
or both ?

In the description of the REVOLVE command in the manual
it says "mask: controls the existence of the bottom, top and
(in the case of alpha < 360° ) side polygons."
If the side polygon is omitted the object will not be solid.
Thank you,
Peter Devlin
