Issue

License Borrowing and Software key download might not be possible on Windows 10 (Anniversary Update 1607) because of CodeMeter driver 5.22a.

Cause

Anniversary Update 1607 contains virtual environment management (Hyper-v) related changes, which may cause the CodeMeter driver 5.22a to detect physical machines as virtual environment.

Solution

Install the latest CodeMeter driver, which contains the fix of this issue (from 6.30b)

IMPORTANT NOTE: By updating the driver the previously downloaded software keys become broken. It is highly recommended to upload all the software keys to the pool before the installation.
