License Manager Tool: Your WIBU-Key driver is missing on macOS 10.15 Catalina

Issue

License Manager Tool startup process is interrupted on macOS 10.15 Catalina with the warning: Your WIBU-Key driver is missing.

Cause

When License Manager Tool is installed freshly on macOS 10.15 Catalina, the "WibuKey Runtime" component cannot be added. This compatibility issue prevents LMT from running.

Computers with License Manager Tool installed before the macOS 10.15 Upgrade are not affected by this situation.

Workarounds

Starting with ARCHICAD 22, software licenses can be activated within ARCHICAD without opening LMT. Beware of the fact, that uploading licenses back to the pool is not yet available in this version.

From ARCHICAD 23, software license management is completely included, since it is also possible to upload the software licenses back to the pool within ARCHICAD.

Solution

Download and install the macOS 10.15 Catalina compatible WIBU-Key Runtime 6.52 from the GRAPHISOFT Downloads Site.
