This is driving me insane. I have a corsair mouse with 12 side buttons. I set side mouse button 9 to be shift. Below I will refer to mouse button 9 that is set to shift as Mouse9.
When selecting objects. Mouse9 allows me to select multiple objects and remove objects from the selections the same as holding Shift(on keyboard).
When holding Mouse9 it will constrain drawing things likes walls to 90 degrees, 45 degrees, etc. the same as Shift (on keyboard) does.
When in 3D hold mouse wheel down pans as intended. Holding mouse wheel down and Mouse9 will not orbit. Mouse wheel and either Shift (on keyboard) will orbit as intended.
Basically my Mouse9 set to shift functions in every capacity as the Shift (on keyboard) except for orbit. How can the mouse key set to shift work everywhere except for orbit? It makes no sense.
