Creating Templates

Srinivas

Dear All,

With the default settings in Archicad Int 9.0 the doors are always set to scale sensitive under its options. I want this to be DETAILED everytime and also TRIM to be OFF, so I thought of creating a template.

I changed this option to detailed and saved it as a template. But when i open the template, the doors are again set to scale sensitive.

I also opened a new file with last profile and then save the file as a template. But when I opened the template file still the doors option is set to scale sensitive.

Where I am doing a mistake.

Awaiting your response.

Much Thanks,
Srinivas.

The settings you refer to are set inside the object library, not the template file.

The only way to pre-set that parameter to "detailed" is to un-archive the library and change each door's default settings. Since this has to be done to EACH door, it can be very time consuming.

The other alternative is to either have doors in the template already drawn off to the side that have the settings you want, then match their parameters as needed or to make a Favorite out each door you use.
