Highlight as you type feature on MAC

I use a MAC at work and one thing I really like on the MAC ArchiCAD is that it highlights matching options as I type.

Eg. while in "surfaces settings", I can start typing "paint" and it will highlights all the surfaces that have "paint" in the name.

I'd love to get this feature on my PC at home. Does anyone know what it's called and if there is any way to emulate it on PC. If this is an ArchiCAD feature (not an operating system thing) ... Graphisoft please include on PC.

See attached image.

It is a Mac OS feature - Spotlight I believe it is called.
Not available for windows users unfortunately.

Thanks Barry. It's such a small thing but I'm finding it takes me a long time to filter through any drop-down options when working from home (PC).

Would be nice to know if there are any alternatives for PC. I've tried but can't find an equivalent add-on.

The best you can do in Windows (Archicad) when there is a list is to start typing the first few characters of what you want and you will jump to that spot in the list.
The more letters you can type quickly the more accurately you can get what you want.
