MORPH Tool = Awesome
Very powerful.
Baby Steps - Using it to create a few quick stucco details on the fly in 3d.
Problem...
Lines appear at junction of MORPH element and adjacent columns / slabs.
Any ideas?
I have tried changing surface materials. I have tried SEO operations on the MORPH element.
All the nodes are definitely in contact. The lines will just not go away.
I know there are myriad different ways to achieve the arches but wanted to get the MORPH tool working.
Thanks.

But lines are there in elevations and sketch render (bread and butter renderings for me). Also there in the 3d window, either engine.
What a drag. HELP!!!!!

In this instance, the corner has a column and the walls intersect with the column. Since the column material is the same as the wall material, there should be no line.
As far as your original question, I have encountered the same thing. I either have to deal with the line, or make the Morph element aspect larger, so there is no line.
Hope this helps.

So it looks like I can't really use the MORPH tool yet as I should be able to.
Really disappointing. Another ArchiCAD tool with an illogical quirk that makes it, well, quirky...

The morph is great for all the trim doodads, looking forward to seeing your decorations!

I agree... the fact that a co-planar, same material morph surface cannot 'join' another surface without a line in elevation is a great disappointment.
Easiest test of the failed functionality: model two walls stacked on top of each other - shows in elevation as a single solid rectangle. Select the top wall, right click and Convert to Morph - the result has a line between the two surfaces.
Bummer.

I just tried the same with slab, roof and wall objects before I saw your post. I tried over sizing the MORPH with a SEO subtract... I've tried everything I can think of.
All the same result.
So is this verified then? Surfaces will not join with MORPH. No work around?
No setting I am missing somewhere...
The MORPH objects are not designed to have surfaces mate cleanly with other types of objects, period. (Except in Lightworks Render)
Thanks.

Meshes wont cleanly mate surfaces with wall, slab and roof objects...
And meshes wont mate with MORPHs either... Or vice versa, depending on your point of view.
Just saying...
