MORPH: Tube extrude along a 3d path - profile centre?

Hi,

If I want to use the Tube Extrude tool along a 3d path I leftclick on a profile and this point becomes the centre of extrusion. It is not too precise (i.e. if I want to select exactly a centre of a cicrcle). Is it possible to have more control over it?

Thanks ejrolon
However that so far does not seem to give any more control than I'm getting with the tube command in 3d.
I'm trying to create the inside railing to a winder stair, so I want to go in two directions in the same move:
ie take a 45 degree turn while dropping at the rake of the stair.
Maybe I'm just lost in space, 3d space that is?

Maybe it might be simpler to draw several morphs then just join (union) them together?

Its hard in Archicad to navigate in 3D and draw complex shapes - my advice is to set two setctions 90 deg one to each other and keep switching between them when u draw stuff like that. But as I said earlier even when yuo draw a complex 3D poly you have to draw a tube once again on that polyline.

Thanks for the reply.
That's what I ended up doing here:

But was hoping for even more 3d control in one fell swoop.
Obviously I have a lot more to learn about working in 3d.

I'll try that also.
Thanks
