I've been playing around and watching a lot of tutorials trying to figure out what the ideal railing settings would be to create a continuous smooth curved solid guard similar to the picture below. When trying to use a toprail or handrail and extending their height to be full guard height it results in crazy connections. So far I've found the cleanest connections can be achieved with just panels but even then I cannot generate the smooth curved without modifying further with a morph. I've tried pairing a toprail that allows for the smooth curves with the panels below however they intersect and create a sloppy look. Has anyone been about to achieve a similar look with just the railing settings alone?

Using a tall rail would probably be easier than using panels, though either way, getting continuous curvesis a pain as you would need to manually position the nodes around your landing... I think there was a video around somewhere where they made the railing that was shown off in the AC21 promo.

This one?

You don't get to see the settings and if you look closely the corner connections of the large rail (wall) are not perfect, but not too bad.
kylevfa's rails are a bit curvier, which may cause some problems.
More control nodes as Ling suggests might help?
