Hi guys.. noobie here...

having problem with the "pushpull" with morph.. im using ver.20 i drew a circle flat using morph tool, but when i tried to pick the face and push-pull it does not work, cant pull it.. as where if i create a cube from morph tool..then try to push-pull any of the 6 sides it does work smoothly.. also notice the sub-palette doesnt show the push pull icon...when i do the right-click cant see it..

thanks in advance...

Edit: Correction see following post
While the circle is a morph, it is still a 2D object so it's volume can't change... Could you just model a cylinder with a column then convert that to a morph?

thanks Ling...
also possible that way.. but i saw this video on youtube he made exactly like this and just pulled it.. with no special plugin.. just normal push pull... wonder why i cant do it.. video he made also a 2d-morph shape ...then pulled to get thickness.

I stand corrected... I can do it now... Sorry about the incorrect assumption.

Don't recall being able to do that with zero volume morphs in 18 or 19, didn't use 20... Though I guess they were mostly free form so that might have had something to do with it...

So long as you are selecting the morph face (and not the perimeter or entire morph) then you should be able to push/pull.
If you select the perimeter you will be able to 'TUBE' it.
If you select the entire morph (not the sub-elements) you will not have either of these options.

thanks man... i did it ...now all good.. silly me.. BTW any idea or Keyboard-shortcut on how to display this sub-palette menu during selection... do we always need to "click" those corner hot-dots (grips) to display this sub-palette menu (editing),,

appreciate it..

I am not sure what you mean by the 'corner hot-dots'.

You can either permanently (until you change it back) set it in the selection tool settings.
Or you can press CTRL+SHIFT when selecting to toggle to sub-element selection.

You can also activate the Quick selection (magnet icon on top of the Infobox when the black arrow is activated) to select an element by clicking on its face, or toggle it (on/off or vice-versa) by holding your spacebar.

i mean when i select element/object this hot dots (corners) appears and when u click it the sub-palette will only appear after doin the click...if i simply just left click it will not show...

So i was wondering if there area any tricks to skip the clicking of the dots.. to have the sub-palette appears.
