Does anyone know how I can connect this railings termination?

Has been an issue since the Railing tool was introduced. You cannot do a closed path. The closest you can get it to terminate on an edge, removed the unneeded post, and set the rails and toprail to have zero end offset.

Base railing;
Zero ALL of the end offsets;
Zeroed offsets;
Given posts and balusters, in EDIT MODE I have deleted one END POST and changed the size of the other to match the balusters;
Result;

terminate at the middle of the side, not at the corner, as described above. that is the solution to the bug.

I'm not sure I understood the process exactly. I tried to do it but it was looking like a big kludge. Changing the offset value to zero didn't seem to have any effect. I got something close just by dragging elements in the edit window.
Perhaps a video will make this process clearer. If it's not asking too much. Thanks in advance

The continuing corners will trim as you expect.
The start and ends will not trim when forming a corner and there is no way to mitre the ends unless you perform you own Solid Element Operation.
By starting in the middle of a straight edge, the ends will abut each other perfectly, but you may end up with a joining line.
