What you can do is open the Door/Window Marker for editing.
There you will see the list of parameters. Set them to the desired values and save it as a new Door/window Marker.
Do this with every Favorite style you need.
You will then have these Marker styles available for Doors/Windows. When you want to choose one, just select that Marker and it will default to the parameters you saved it with.

Go to Open Object by Subtype, then navigate to the Window-Door Markers to select the Marker you want to modify.

Where would I find the 'open by subtype' command? I can get a direct 'open object' dialogue, but the menu displayed in David Maudlin's screen-grab is elusive.
You either need to edit your Work Environment to include this command in the menus or just open the "Edit GDL Library Parts" toolbar (WINDOWS menu > TOOLBARS).
It should be the 6th button along.
